My Journey To America
Seated in the middle of a big plane awaiting my arrival in America. It was my first time out of the country so I had a clenched feeling in the pit of my stomach and I was jet lagged from traveling for a whole day! When I boarded off my plane, and went to see my host family the first thing I noticed that was different from my country was the diversity. There were so many people of different ethnicities. I was shocked to see people that were all shapes, sizes, and colors! When I got home I noticed something that was similar: friends and family are something that we both value. I very much enjoyed my experience here. I would highly recommend the exchange student program for everyone!
